Tales from India : Unity Art Nabiha & Thom

Working and exhibiting together since 1997, Unity Art Nabiha and Thom are currently based in Germany.
Tales from India shows a selection of portraits of people the artist couple met on their two month journey through southern India in the winter of 2004.

“Our intense journey has been very moving and enriched our life in multiple ways.
The people we met and the experiences we had left a strong impression and influenced our work and life to a great extent.
Though at first everything seemed so radically different, we discovered it is the same like in the west,
just in a different and charming guise and with somehow shifted priorities.”
